This site was developed for commercial horticulturists, but insect identification and lifecycle information can be of use to anyone.  Control recommendations are specifically offered for those working in the commercial horticulture industry.  Always consult pesticide labels for the most current information. 

Horticultural and entomological information is available for homeowners at the Home and Garden Information Center website or call within Maryland on their toll free number at 800-342-2507 (weekdays 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.).
